It’s Fall!!!!!!

This is just a quick update post on what’s been going on right now, but I’m hoping to have more videos and posts out again really soon! 😊
It’s starting to feel like fall outside and I love it! 🥰🍂🍁
I love every season of the year for different reasons, but I think fall could be my favorite. It’s definitely top four! 😉
I’m currently drafting my “Author Protection Program” WIP (“work in progress”, also name not concrete still lol) There’s a fall festival related to the plot of my story so I’ve been getting really excited for fall when I’ve been looking for inspiration for book stuff! 😊 I also got my first iced pumpkin chai tea latte of this season on Saturday so I think I’m all set and ready for the leaves as they start changing colors!🥰🍁🍂
The big question now is…

Um….
Not bad, but definitely not amazing lol
I’m hoping to hit 60,000-70,000 words before the end of September and I haven’t even hit 20,000.
It’s disappointing, but I’ve never been great at finding routine in my day to day life and that’s what has been hampering my efforts.
I’m very happy with the progress that has been made with my wip, but I also know I could be doing better.
I might be making more posts in the next few weeks because I’ve missed making blog posts and I’ve missed keeping myself accountable with some things.
I care so much about this project and my timeline is to have the majority of the writing done before the end of this year. This project has been in the works for almost three years and it’s gone through the wringer with a lot of things including critique calls, major and minor plot revisions, multiple (and I do mean multiple) synopsis rounds and changes, and also a boat load and a half of self doubt and frustration.
There are a lot of things I’ve learned through bringing this project to life that I wouldn’t have gotten prior to joining a writing program, but the stories from the program might be for another day.😊
